The comprehensive program will run over two full days on March 16-17, 2022, at the International Convention Centre in Sydney and will feature expert discussion panels, in-depth workshops, industry awards and networking opportunities. 

 

The pandemic may still be providing challenges for the global cleaning industry and wider community, but that hasn’t stopped ISSA Oceania delivering a series of highly successful events in recent times. AFL legend to kick-start Education Program at 2022 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo

Former Sydney Swans AFL star Michael O’Loughlin will headline a stellar list of speakers as part of the Education Program at the 2022 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo next year.

 

The comprehensive 2022 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo Education Program will run over two full days on March 16-17, 2022, at the International Convention Centre in Sydney and will feature expert discussion panels, in-depth workshops, industry awards and networking opportunities. 

 

In addition, an award-winning professional photographer will be available on both days of the Expo to take professional headshot photos for visitors’ LinkedIn profiles.

 

Annual Wage Increase & Superannuation Guarantee Change

 

The Fair Work Commission announced a national annual wage increase of 2.5% for the minimum wage rates for Modern Awards, including the Cleaning Services Award. The increases will occur over three time periods, with the Cleaning Services Award increase classified under the first phase to occur on 1 July 2021.

On 4 June 2021, ISSA ran the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Certified Expert (C.C.E.) Workshop. CIMS is a consensus-based management standard built around six areas of management best practises that have proven to be the foundation of high performance, customer-focused, and sustainable cleaning organisations. Congratulations to the certified professionals who have now developed a deeper understanding of the quality standards in business management that will help further their careers. 

 

On 8 July 2021, ISSA ran the Australian edition of the Accredited Auditing Professional (AAP) Online Training Course for those industry professionals looking to enhance their knowledge and skills around quality assurance and building audits, and provide their customers with the level of cleaning they deserve. Congratulations to the certified professionals who learnt how to implement a successful cleaning auditing program.
